KNITTING - Sukha Sweater
Who am I to pass up an opportunity to test knit a project for someone I have been following and admiring on Instagram? That's right, I can't. A while back, @byannieclaire posted on IG that she would be needing some test knitters for her new sweater design. Her Sukha sweater is a summer knit. It's pretty heavy for summers here in North Carolina or the part of California I grew up, but it's perfect for when my husband keeps the AC freezing cold, for when I visit the Oregon coast, and for the spring and fall weather.
I am super happy with this project. I would categorize it as intermediate. It involves lots and lots of cables (which were time consuming and made the project a little slow, but totally worth the effort) and overall is a simple design. I would recommend this pattern to anyone who wants to try it out. I've been wearing mine since I cast off the second sleeve. Even before I wove in the ends and blocked it- shhh, don't tell.
This is the first sweater I have ever knit for myself and it feels so good! Time to choose another me project. Insert big grin emoji.
See you next week!
